Pieter's point is correct. I personally could not make the automatic assumption that if I wanted to join I need to follow the "Log In" link.

I think it's good to have both a login and a join link, so I'm -1 on removing the 'join' link. A person that has no account on zope.org will faster click on a join button, than on a link named login.

It might be a good idea to change give links a title: like this:

<a href="http://url.to.login/" title="Log in and personalize your Zope or access your files..." />
<a href="http://url.to.join/" title="Join the Zope community (it's free)" />

chrism asks:

> Why are "log in" and "join" two separate buttons?
> Why not just show "log in" and allow people to join
> on the login form if they don't have an account.
