Hear, hear I was actually thinking of this just the other week when I had 2
hours spare and wanted to do something constructive, squashing a bug would
have been a nice chance. This would also give me a chance to get familiar
with the setup and process. I must confess to being nervous about making any
commits...

Im not going to rattle off the usual excuses of time, but this is the
biggest reason.
