Wow. Talk about shooting the messanger. Or is that burying heads in sand? ;-)

I don't see much point in having a test suite that's failing. I don't have the 
expertise to fix the current tests that are failing. As Guido said, Fred is 
working on a fix for this particular failure. I've contacted Andreas about 
fixing the failing TextIndex tests on Windows, which I suspect to be due to 
distinctly dodgy FileStorage / ZODB abuse in the test suite, but he doesn't 
appear interested (or maybe doesn't have the time) to fix them.

I personally think it's a good thing for people to be notified of these failures 
_a lot_ so that someone who can will fix them. That said, if you'd prefer we 
take the ostrich approach, please let me know...
