M basic feeling on this is that Zope itself isn't for typical people. =20=

But it shouldn't interfere when someone uses something (Plone) that=20
*is* for typical people.  And yes, I think the whole concept of hotfix,=20=

monkey patch, or even untarring a=20
product/package/distribution/whatever-the-hell-it-is-called into the=20
right directory has proven troublesome.

I agree with Florent, Alex, and others.  This was active work, done=20
well, and well understood.  It just happened to not be on the 2.6=20
schedule.  But is it 95% a known quantity.  However, I applaud Toby for=20=

being tough on sticking to the schedule.

Put it in 2.6.  Sort out the risks in the beta cycle, and chalk this up=20=

as an anomaly due to the gap between feature freeze and beta release.

My two cents of whatever the currency it is that I'm currently=20
holding...
