I was thinking more in terms of avoiding the need to always use the "build
farm".  If anyone could build a Zope release on their own workstation (for
their own platform), the process would become lighter and less opaque.
We'd all know just what tweaks are going into the releases (such as extra
Windows registry keys, compiler flags, etc.).  With WISE, it's hard for
contributors to help with this part of the software.

Only two or three people in the world know the steps to make a Zope
release.  That doesn't seem quite right.  OTOH it probably doesn't matter
much.
