On the other hand, consider the possibility of providing a GUI Builder with
user selectable widgets, which generate component descriptions in a very
high level, declarative language. The resulting application would in effect
be the interpretation of the composite GUI, built by inference from
patterns within the Zope Studio RDF. Maybe even the Widgets themselves
could be built this way, so that a customizable, "standard" tool set can be
available to all content managers of a site.

You may recall a brief exchange from the Zope List on the need for a
friendlier "layer" over the Zope Management Interface. That discussion
mentioned the advantages of a "Natural Language", and the potential
of "Rules" to simplify the Zope Management Interface.

Burying the internals of Zope just a bit further beneath the surface will
go a long way toward making the Management Interface approachable by
the garden variety content provider.
